Natural Moldavite from Chlum paired with amethyst and wrapped in 14k gold-filled wire. This pendant has a beautifully balanced, almost symmetrical composition, with the two stones sitting one above the other in a simple design that allows their natural colours and individual character to do the work.

The rich purple of the amethyst creates a striking contrast with the natural green of the Moldavite, while the warm gold of the wire provides a third element that brings the entire piece together. There is a pleasing simplicity to the combination — green, purple and gold — with each colour remaining clearly defined without overpowering the others.

The wire wrapping follows the shape of the stones with clean, flowing lines, securely holding them while leaving them largely exposed. Rather than hiding the Moldavite beneath a heavy setting, the design allows its natural surface, texture and form to remain clearly visible.
