A beautifully handcrafted pendant featuring 1.21g of Natural Moldavite from Marouskovo Pole, South Bohemia, set in copper using the electroforming technique.
This delicate specimen displays a wonderfully unusual, asymmetrical formation with a broad, irregular lower section and finely sculptured natural edges. Its beautiful pale olive-green translucency allows light to pass through the glass, revealing subtle flowing ridges, delicate surface textures and variations in thickness.
The handcrafted copper setting embraces the upper portion of the Moldavite, with clusters of rounded, organically textured copper extending gently along its edges. The rich, antique copper finish provides a lovely contrast to the soft green glass, while the open design leaves most of the natural specimen beautifully exposed.
Handcrafted in the Czech Republic, this pendant has a distinctive, almost leaf-like appearance, combining the delicate character of Marouskovo Pole Moldavite with the rugged beauty of electroformed copper.
Copper electroforming is a process in which copper is gradually deposited onto a prepared surface using an electrical current. Over time, the copper builds up around selected areas of the stone, creating a durable, individually shaped setting that follows its natural contours. The resulting organic textures make each finished piece unique.
A lovely example of Czech craftsmanship, combining beautiful natural translucency with an attractive, individually formed copper setting.

Moldavite is a rare, green tektite formed from a meteorite impact that occurred around 15 million years ago in what is now the Czech Republic. This extraordinary stone is found only in a small region around the Moldau River in Bohemia, making it one of the rarest gemstones on Earth.
Authentic Moldavite has a distinctive surface texture, natural pits, and a translucent green color that varies in intensity. It is also lighter than glass imitations. To ensure authenticity, purchase Moldavite from reputable sources, and consider requesting a certificate of authenticity.
Moldavite is believed to be a powerful stone for transformation, personal growth, and spiritual connection. It is often used in meditation, energy healing, and other spiritual practices to enhance intuition, amplify energy, and facilitate communication with higher realms.
To care for your Moldavite jewelry, gently clean it with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, or prolonged sunlight, as these can affect its color and structure. Store Moldavite separately to prevent scratches.
Moldavite is expensive due to its rarity and limited supply, as it is found only in a specific region of the Czech Republic. Additionally, its unique origins and increasing popularity as both a gemstone and a spiritual tool contribute to its high value. Prices can vary significantly depending on the size, quality, and uniqueness of the piece.
