Striking Onyx and mixed Peridot beaded necklace featuring two natural Marouskovo Pole Moldavite drops 1.85g & 2.06g, each individually claw-set in antiqued sterling silver. The deep, polished black tones of Onyx create a dramatic contrast against the vibrant greens of Peridot and Moldavite, resulting in a bold yet beautifully balanced statement piece.

The dual Moldavite design adds movement, symmetry and character, allowing each stone’s unique shape, texture and natural beauty to be appreciated. Carefully selected materials come together to create a necklace that feels powerful, elegant and completely one of a kind.

In crystal traditions, Peridot is often known as the “stone of compassion” and is associated with abundance, emotional balance and renewal. Connected by many enthusiasts with the Heart and Solar Plexus chakras, it is appreciated for its uplifting energy and connection with positivity and harmony.

Onyx, a cryptocrystalline form of quartz, has been treasured throughout history as a symbol of protection, resilience and inner strength. Often regarded as a grounding stone, it has traditionally been used as a talisman for focus, stability and confidence.

Together, the rich depth of Onyx, the bright vitality of Peridot and the extraordinary story of Moldavite create a truly unique piece — a meeting of contrast, balance and natural beauty.

45.5cm necklace length.

Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity tied to a money-back guarantee.

What is Moldavite & where is it from?
Moldavite is a rare tektite or meteoric glass, caused by an asteroid impact 15 million years ago. The intense, 10,000°C+ temperatures of the strike vapourised the asteroid, target rock and sand, flinging the molten substance high into the atmosphere.

From the impact zone in Germany some 300km away, it landed back to earth in what is now the Czech Republic and as it flew, it cooled and solidified into translucent green, glass-like droplets of various shapes and sizes.

It is said that only 1% of what had originally fallen is still intact to this day and the estimates of the total amount of Moldavite remaining is under 300 tonnes. In comparison with gold or diamonds, this makes Moldavite 1000x rarer.

99% of all Moldavite is found in a small area in the southern part of the Czech Republic. It can be found on the surface but the highly prized, well-preserved specimens are found up to 6 metres underground.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What is Moldavite, and where does it come from?

Moldavite is a rare, green tektite formed from a meteorite impact that occurred around 15 million years ago in what is now the Czech Republic. This extraordinary stone is found only in a small region around the Moldau River in Bohemia, making it one of the rarest gemstones on Earth.

Authentic Moldavite has a distinctive surface texture, natural pits, and a translucent green color that varies in intensity. It is also lighter than glass imitations. To ensure authenticity, purchase Moldavite from reputable sources, and consider requesting a certificate of authenticity.

Moldavite is believed to be a powerful stone for transformation, personal growth, and spiritual connection. It is often used in meditation, energy healing, and other spiritual practices to enhance intuition, amplify energy, and facilitate communication with higher realms.

To care for your Moldavite jewelry, gently clean it with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, or prolonged sunlight, as these can affect its color and structure. Store Moldavite separately to prevent scratches.

Moldavite is expensive due to its rarity and limited supply, as it is found only in a specific region of the Czech Republic. Additionally, its unique origins and increasing popularity as both a gemstone and a spiritual tool contribute to its high value. Prices can vary significantly depending on the size, quality, and uniqueness of the piece.
