Moldavite: 5.55g | Libyan Desert Glass: 2.35g | Sterling Silver: 4.3g

A striking one-of-a-kind pendant combining two extraordinary impact glasses — Moldavite and Libyan Desert Glass.

The centrepiece is a stunning 5.55g triangular Moldavite specimen, chosen for its remarkable natural texture and beautifully defined surface. It is set in .925 sterling silver and paired with a 2.35g piece of genuine Libyan Desert Glass (LDG).

A particularly beautiful detail is the back plate beneath the LDG. It has been polished to a mirror-like finish and sealed to protect against corrosion, creating a highly reflective surface behind the translucent glass. The result is that the LDG catches and reflects the light beautifully, giving it an almost luminous appearance.

The pendant contains 4.3g of .925 sterling silver and has been designed to allow both stones to remain the focus.

A truly unique pairing of two natural glasses formed by extraordinary events millions of years ago.

A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for the Moldavite is included.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What is Moldavite, and where does it come from?

Moldavite is a rare, green tektite formed from a meteorite impact that occurred around 15 million years ago in what is now the Czech Republic. This extraordinary stone is found only in a small region around the Moldau River in Bohemia, making it one of the rarest gemstones on Earth.

Authentic Moldavite has a distinctive surface texture, natural pits, and a translucent green color that varies in intensity. It is also lighter than glass imitations. To ensure authenticity, purchase Moldavite from reputable sources, and consider requesting a certificate of authenticity.

Moldavite is believed to be a powerful stone for transformation, personal growth, and spiritual connection. It is often used in meditation, energy healing, and other spiritual practices to enhance intuition, amplify energy, and facilitate communication with higher realms.

To care for your Moldavite jewelry, gently clean it with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, or prolonged sunlight, as these can affect its color and structure. Store Moldavite separately to prevent scratches.

Moldavite is expensive due to its rarity and limited supply, as it is found only in a specific region of the Czech Republic. Additionally, its unique origins and increasing popularity as both a gemstone and a spiritual tool contribute to its high value. Prices can vary significantly depending on the size, quality, and uniqueness of the piece.
